Picking up Emails

  Citrws 21:03 25 Apr 05

I'd like to be able to pick up e mails when I am away from home without having to carry my laptop with me. I have been thinking that the answer may be a hand held PC (or Pocket PC or PDA - I think they are all more or less the same thing) but I don't know enough about them. I want to be able to pick up my e mail, do simple word processing and transfer information to or from my lap top, if this is possible.

Can anyone plese help?

Any chance of using an Internet café?

Hi, as octal says - an Internet Cafe would fill your needs.

Most inet cafes will let you use a USB flash drive to trnsfer info between their systems and yours.
