Physical proximity for 2 monitors

How close can two CRT monitors be , before causing any problems , if indeed any.

In my small office we had seven 17" CRT literally side by side and we never experienced a problem.

Had them all changed for TFT's and the biggest difference is how much cooler it is in the office now!!

I know someone with three literally in line on his desk - two 17in and one 21in - who has no problems.

If you place the screen of one well behind the others.

In fact it has to be so far back as to be level with the rear of the other tubes to risk magnetic interference. Even then, I believe many CRT's have magnetic shielding.
