Physical Memory Dump Help please

hi there, i was hoping somebody could help me.

Every now and again my computer comes up with a blue screen and displays this information,

"a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

I havent a clue why it does this and i was hoping someone could help me as it comes out of the blue with no warning so i could lose any work im doing.

You could try sfc /scannow click here you will need your windows disc.

thanks skidzy, interesting as it says 3/5 times the problem is down to over heating and just lately my fan has been making some strange noises at startup!! could be the prob. cheers bud
