Hi,

I want to build up my own site, problem is that i think that html coding alone is quite limited to what you can get out of it. I have host with php and MySQL support and i thought to build my own php site. It is complicated i know, but i don't want to use CMS this time. My question is what software would be the best to build php website from scratch? And is there some kind of tutorials, guidelines around net which would help me to do that? Currently i am using e107 for one site and Joomla for another.
I just want to build something which belongs to me.

Thanks

Hi,

PHP is a scripting language, so essentially you could use something as simple as Notepad. Dreamweaver is quite good for PHP programming.

The best resource for PHP is the PHP website (click here for details).
