I have just started using Photoshop Elements 7 and I have a problem with the Menu bar,the words are too dark i.e File etc
Anyone know how to change this. I did find a way to increase the lightness of the work area but that,s all
regards

Go to Edit - Preferences - General - then in the Appearance Options - User Interface Brightness- adjust by using the slider, + or -, to suit you.

Can't say I'm enamoured of the dark grey of PS Elements myself. I have PSE 6 and that option isn't available.

I agree with you, it takes a bit of getting used to. I was sold on the Quick Selection tool which was only in CS3 or 4 before PSE7 came into being.

Why Adobe went for the grey interface is beyond me. It enhances nothing in using the program.
