I have just burned a load of pictures to cd is there a way to see them as a slide show and what do I need.

I am using 98se with an Athlone 2000+ with 512 memory.

Irfanview will run a slideshow from any folder; basic but good.

Irfan View will give you more control, but you will have to burn another CD. My Pictures Screen saver will run with existing pictures.

not sure if My Pictures screen saver is available with Windows 98

I dont think that you get a MY Pictures screen saver with win 98. However if you ask around you may find a copy of MS Scenes which is a very good screen saver.
It used to be available as a freebie on many magine discs. I may be able to find one if you are stuck.

I missed that point. One doesn't need to burn the slideshow to CD. One can just open Irfan View and run the slideshow from Pictures on the CD.
