Can anyone recommend a good easy to use photo quality printer. I don't want a HP printer as I have had a very bad experience with this company in the past.

Canon pixma ip3000 got good write up in PCA - I've got 4000 & found to be good - all tanks are separate so you only have to renew one colour at a time.

I have three HP printers and I have had no problems at all, if you are looking for a small photo printer, I have the HP 325, (I had the HP 240, but passed it onto my friend) the 325 is excellent and BT have it for £99, post free and it came the next day. However I have looked at the Epson R300, it looks really good but it is a full sized printer.

Hi, I am also on the verge of getting a better printer, I will probably go for the Epson R300, have had a good look on-line and I think that will be the one for me anyway. I have always had Epson printers and scanners.

Happy hunting.

Cheers.

I second Technotiger's choice. click here the R200 is as the R300 but without the card reader.

Compatible ink from click here

Brilliant prints and cheap to run.

Hi again - I have just bought, on-line, one Epson R300 priced at £79.98, including vat and free delivery, from PC World. Delivery within 2-7 days.

Cheers.

Technotiger, check the driver version after you've installed, if it's not 5.51 you can get the update on the Epson site. With the older driver you get a 10 to 15 second lag before prining starts.

Thanks - I will.

Cheers.
