photo paper

hi all,

today i bought a hp deskjet f380 for a bargain price of £30. it says on the tech info i can use photo paper up to 236 gsm only. my question is could i use heavier paper than the 236 for photos, pics etc. what are the consequences, if any, ie will the photos not print properly or will i damage the print heads.

236g photo paper is good quality, but to find out what happens if you use a heavier paper you should visit HPs website and ask them. Try click here

Many HP printers have the paper routed through quite an acute angle. Using very heavyweight paper with insufficient flexibility will cause jamming on the way through.
