Is anyone else getting these calls regarding a fault in their computer. I know its a scam, and I'm getting one a day now, and I'm insulting the Indian [I suppose] gentleman at the other end of the phone. How can I stop this??????

Lots of people are getting them. Just put the phone down and do not engage with them

me too. I'm tempted to chat to them for a while to keep them from ringing the more susceptible. If you think it's hot here, ask them what it's like over there. 44c according to BT's cheerful but ultimately no bloody help desk man in Mumbai.

Place the receiver on the desk and let him talk to himself for as long as he wants. After all he is paying for the call. Or you could place the receiver next to the radio and play him a lullaby and hope he drops off to sleep. He can pick up the bill then.

Regrettably because they originate from outside of Uk they cannot be stopped as they don't come under the TPS. Hang up as quickly as you can.
