Phillips MT5000 won't start - Pls Help me!

OK, the basics first ... monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers all attached. Power on and just an orange light on the monitor, no power to mouse (optical - no red light), no keyboard lights. RAM is good (Brand new from Crucial - DDR2 PC-4200 2x1GB). Also tried DDR2 667 PC5300. Fans all wok and 4 pin connection on motherboard OK. Have tried installed graphics card - x1550 and also PX6600 (128mb), PCI Express. Assume it's a power supply issue, but how do I check as I have a bunch of wires from the supply going to the various components. System is a Phillips MT5000 and is new - but can't get refund as company has gone bankrupt and are not replying to emails or phone.
