After getting a virus , which i could not, remove, quarantine, but did bar access to. All of a sudden i am getting message delivery failures from people whom i have never heard of. I can only assume that my e-mail address is being sent out by who ever is spreading the virus and purporting to originate from me. I use yahoo mail.
any suggestions please

What was the name of the virus? And what did you use to bar access to it?

If you identify the virus, look on the Anti-virus web site and you might be able to download a fix program. My latest was Avril Lavigne (Lirva) which I sent out to all and sundry. It came on an internal e-mail from my boss.

Tried using norton antivirus. updated to NAV 2003 and Norton firewall 2003 since. Have checked just about everything and all shows clear.

Original problem started with loads of pop-ups and changing of home page to everything inc gambling
