Persistent Spyware problem

I'm trying to sort out a friends computer yet again. She seems to have a persistent piece of spyware that I just cannot seem to get rid of. I've scanned with Ad-Aware and Spybot but It keeps coming back.

Her home page has been changed to 'syserrors.com' although it still says 'google' in Internet Options and yellow warning triangle with an exclamation mark keeps appearing in the system tray. Every few minutes a warning balloon appears from the triangle saying - Urgent System Message Virus! You Are Infected With Trojan iworm_attch_v122.02a click icon for more information. It goes if you click the 'X' in the top right of the balloon, only to reappear a few minutes later.

I've also scanned with AVG and it doesn't pick anything up.

There doesn't seem to be anything untoward in 'Add And Remove Progs' or in the 'Startup' tab when using 'msconfig'

Also her BT Yahoo Broadband connection will not let her log on, when she clicks the log in box it just keeps saying Connection Failed but if she just starts up Internet Explorer it connects. I'm not sure if this problem is associated with the spyware problem.

Any ideas please folks?

XP Pro, Ad Aware SE, Spybot, AVG and ZoneAlarm Fire Wall.

Cheers, Chris.
