Perl CGI & ASP

I want to install a program onto a network drive so it is accessible to all users, but have noticed in the spec that "the web server should be set to run Perl CGI scripts or ASP."

I'm not altogether sure what this means. We have a file server running Win2k and all workstations are XP Pro. Really I just want to know if it will work, or do I need to make any alterations to the Win2k server. We do have a number of programs accessed this way without any problem.

Grateful for any advice.
