People can hear my audio

Hello, so I have a problem with my audio. the problem is that people on Skype can hear my audio although it is not being picked up through my microphone on my headset. I currently have not found a solution to this problem and am looking for further help. Things to note are:

  • I have all input and output devices disabled apart from my microphone and headset
  • I have separated all input jacks through Realtek HD Audio Manager
  • The sound is definitely not being picked up from my microphone

All these and I currently have the issues still.

Any ideas? Thanks.

What do you get if you call Skype Test? Can you hear your own message, if not - mic problem.
Is there a built in mic on the webcam?

Laptop? Built in microphone?

You need to set the correct Mic in Skype settings, not Control Panel.

My custom PC specs are: GeForce GTX 750Ti AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor 8GB

Headset is Sades SA708 connected in the rear pannel via 3.5mm jacks

Jollyjohn, what Skype settings specifically?

With Skype open, go to Tools - Seetings - Audio and check the correct Mic is being used.
