Pentium Motherboard

I have an apparently dead Mobo (Gigabyte 8S651MP-RZ) which has a Celeron D330 CPU 2.6Ghz fitted. I've had little to do with Intel as all my previous boards have been AMD. I've seen what appears to be a Mobo that will do the job it's an ASRock P4VM890 Intel Socket 478 SATA Motherboard. I'm reluctant to buy until I'm sure it'll do the job. Comments appreciated, Tks

It appears to me to be an excellent choice.

It has integrated graphics, whereas the one you have I think has AGP card.

The new one can take a PCI express if required, but not AGP.

The one I have has integrated graphics and an AGP slot but that's not a problem as onboard is fine for what the PC's for. As I said my only concern is that it will take the Celeron D330 CPU.

Sorry I didn't get back.
It certainly looks OK To run that CPU

Thanks all. Woodchip I bought the Asrock P4i65G locally and I'm assured it'll do the job. Thanks again for input
