Hi, managed to save the processor, and re-hashed the fan, but need a new fan. Where can I get a new fan for above cpu, please. Dimensions are 50mm x 50mm.and three wires, red, black and yellow.12volt.

Try looking on Ebay. Just type in Pentium 2 or fans. You might have to buy a complete CPU ( these are slot 1 I think) but should be cheap.

Price differences between the fan on it's own and a whole new heat sink assembly are marginal, but here's a few links to look at.

Ok, PC World is the best bet as far as I can see, for approx £5. selling an updated heatsink and fan.
Next question: How do I remove the heatsink from my pentiumII? please

click here but you should just be able to unscrew the fan and take it to any pc shop and buy a replacement.

A P11 is about the only CPU I've never changed the cooler on, so I'm not sure about its fittings, but I found this that may be of use click here refers to a Celeron, but it's a slot 1 CPU like a P2 so shouldn't be that different. The best advice is given in step 1, "figure out what you're going to do first".
