Pentium D - motherboards

I am going to build a server and I would like to use a Dual-Core processor.

That is the cpu I am most likely to use and I would like someone to reccomend a compatible motherboard.

You'll need a motherboard that has socket 775 for it to be compatable with that processor it will also need to have a FSB(front side bus) of 800, as far as recommending you one I'll have to pass that onto someone else.

are they the only compatibility issues, nothing do do with 90nm processes or any thing?

Just read in another mag, that and I quote "nForce4 SLI Intel Edition chipset supposedly supports both single and dual core Pentium cpus. Except that nForce4 SLI Intel Edition doesn't support the 2.8Ghz Pentium D 820. All other Pentium D chips work well, but the 2.8Ghz Pentium D 820 will either make your mobo squawk like a parrot or, if you're lucky, it will boot but only run in single-core mode"
