Pentium 4 3.2GHz Overheating???

I have a self built Intel Pentium 4 based system, with an Abit IC7-G motherboard and I am getting temperatures of 50-55C on idle and 60-65C when stressing the CPU e.g. playing a game. I am using a Coolermaster Aero 4 lite with Artic Silver Céramique Heatsink Compound. And my question is, are the temperatures (reported by Abit EQ) acceptable temperatures or are they too high?

I would have a look at click here key in the info on the processor you have and see recommended temps, there appears to be 4 3.2 processors and I don't know which you have. I'm always a bit wary about accepting a programs temperature readings, I would have a look at the Bios and see if it confirms your temps.

My P4 3.2 runs at 48 idle, 49-50 surfing the net and goes up to around 64 when playing games.
