PCI Video Card

My Video card has gone pop. It fits in a PCI slot on the MB. Looking at replacements they all appear to be PCI-E will these fit my MB?

In the world of graphics cards / slots, PCI was superseded by AGP, which in turn has been replaced by PCI-express.

You can still find some PCI cards around if you look hard.

Can you tell us your mobo make / model?

Have a look here - click here

I have used ATI 9250 in a pc without AGP port and it was simple to install.

Sorry board has not popped at all, must have been the driver not being available in generic driver table when I put XP onto my ME system. Does any one have a driver for a Cirrus GD5446 PCI Video card that is compatable with XP. My Mobo also has onboard AGP Graphic capability that requires an ARTX Driver, but since moving from ME to XP this driver does not get recognised. Both Cirrus and Artx have been absorbed into other companies so there may not be drivers available. Any thoughts welcome please.
