I have a dell dimension 9150 runing windows xp media centre, to upgrade from analog tv to digital I have been informed I need the pci slots to be 2.3 compliant, how do I assertain this?

Also has anyone used the pinnacle pctv310i product,if so have you had any installation issues?

PCI 2.3 (which introduced universal 3.3v keying) predates the final 3.0 spec, so your Dell will use this standard unless it is very old indeed.

You could use a USB Digtal

A Freecom DVB usb stick would probably the easiest way, about £35.

PCI 2.3 Compliant's specification was first released in March 2002 - as the Dell model is quite recent and includes XP Media Centre, it will more than comply with 2.3 and almost certainly 3.0.

I've used a Twinhan Freeview PCI Digital + Analogue card with both a five or six-year-old Gigabyte motherboard and my current two-year-old MSI KT6V.
