Want to add 2 new hard drives to PC and when i put the PCI IDE Card into Computer and turn PC on, when windows loads it just hangs on desktop and will not respond - hence cant install drivers for card.

PCI IDE Card: Silicon SD-SIL680-RAID

Computer Specification are:

Hope someone can help me

Try the card into a different PCI slot

install the drivers first, shut down and then insert the card and boot up.
