PCI Express compatibility

I am thinking of building a computer with a Connect 3D Radeon X850 XT Platinum (click here) and a ABIT KV7 Via Socket A ATX Motherboard with an AMD Athlon XP 3000+ 2.16GHz Processor (click here).

The above graphic card uses PCI-Express - is that compatible with my above selected motherboard? Is PCI-Express more of an Intel thing, or will that Athlon 64 motherboard provide PCI-Express capability anyway?

I'm not sure if PCI-Express capability is dependant on the motherboard, or the graphics card, or both.

Any help or comments would be much appreciated, thanks.

"I'm not sure if PCI-Express capability is dependant on the motherboard, or the graphics card, or both."

Both - and the above motherboard is PCI, not PCIe

However the motherboard does have an AGP slot for a graphics card, so you could easliy choose from a wide range of AGP cards.
