pcAnywhere and ISDN line on remote connection

Has anyone any experience of using pcAnywhere to connect to a remote computer? The host is a stand alone dial up modem with its own phone number and the remote is connected to the internet via a BT ISDN line. No matter how carefully I follow the instructions, I cannot make a connection from remote to host. Anyone any ideas?
