PC won't switch on

Was having probs with desktop intermittent switch off. Temps looked ok but cleaned fans. Also replaced the PSU.

Still probs and thought it might be the case switch. Replaced case.

Last night after putting in case, plugged in power (without screen etc) to check ok. Everything ok. Switch off power (boot may not have fully completed).

Moved PC to sons room and by time got there the PC will not switch on. There is power getting to mobo (as led light on). Fans not working and def no sign of boot.

Could it be a faulty switch (recall simialr problem before and identifying this by using screwdriver to complete circuit on mobo pin connectors for switch)

Any other ideas, could it be a mobo fault?

Took out mobo and reset

Think it was shorting on base, working fine now
