PC won't boot up!

Hi there:

I have some serious issues with my PC it just tries to boot then shuts down.

Nothing stays on screen long enough for me to do anything.

I can go to the Bios.... but what do I do there, I have no idea what the fault is, it's just started to shut-down everytime I switch it on?

Any ideas?

Thanks........... Neil.

Start it and keep tapping the F8 key just before the Windows logo appears.

From the boot menu select Last known good configuration.

Evening stalion

If that doesn't work do the same tapping of the F8 key but select Safe mode with command prompt. At the > prompt type

to launch System Restore.
