Hi guys I have a compaq presario SR1705UK and ive had some spare money left over this month so i am planning on upgrading this system because its pretty slow and i was wondering if this is a good upgrade for this pc.

Current specs:
Intel Celeron D 3.06 ghz proccesor
512MB DDR2 PC2-5300 Ram
80GB HDD
Onboard ATI Radeon Xpress 200 64MB Graphics card 350 Watt Power supply
ECS RC410-M Motherboard

And If i upgrade the specs will Be:
Intel pentium D 2.8ghz dual core
2GB DDR2 PC2-5300 Ram
80GB HDD
ATI Radeon HD 4350
350 Watt Power supply
ECS RC410-M Motherboard

Is this a good upgrade and will the new parts be compatible with the motherboard and with eachother and also wil i need to reinstall or reactivate windows because i have changed important parts of the pc e.g CPU?

Any Help Appreciated

You have another topic going along the lines of this one.

My Advice again sell the current parts i.e on Ebay or Privately.

But you really need to get a hole new system either build one yourself or buy it from a store.
