but if it's anything like many others it will contain little or nothing that you couldn't get free of charge.

There are free utilities which monitor and fix just about everything nowadays, and the Internet is awash with them. My advice, for what it's worth, is that you come here if you have a specific problem - post the details in our Helproom, and wait for someone to respond. If there's a downloadable fix someone will know about it and tell you.

That's £8.99 you've saved already.
