Pc temperature?

Is that test telling me that my PC temp is 86 degrees?!

Surely it must be wrong as my fan is working perfectly and i can even feel the cool air when i put my hand near the case.

Well that is what it appears to be saying, which is almost twice what it should be. But I would have thought that at that temperature something would have stopped working by now!

it's the graphics card temp, whatever it is it's a little warm, it warm for an 8800 ultra but not dangerous, we need to know which graphics card you have?

i have a nvidia geforce 6200LE card

recently ive been getting freezing and blue screens

The blue screens say the error is nv4_disp.dll which is the graphics driver?

Could this be linked?

download and run click here it will tell you all temps, if gpu is that hot with a browser open the case could need better airflow.

  Technotiger 19:13 15 Jun 08

Yes, I would say it is linked.

3 times hotter than it should be. check all fans, are running clean dust etc from all sincs and fans, the temp is too hot which is why you're getting freezes.

sorry technotiger, your reply is never there when i start typing!

if the case fan is working i would guess the small fan on your grx card has either stopped or is clogged with dust.

I wouldn't treat the results as 100% truth - system fan at 31000rpm...
You can also try GPU-Z click here in addition to adman's link
