I have a pc with Windows XP which has been updated with SP2. Every time the computer is booted it will first display 'My Documents' folder and subsequently 'Tesconet' dialler and gain access to the net. This will happen automatically unless I manually close 'My Documents' and 'Tesconet Dialler'. Otherwise computer works fine. Any ideas of how I can prevent this happening?

is your internet connection with Tesco or not? cos I think the Tesco connection is whats causing this...but from the My Documents folder? thats weird...

Have you checked out IE's Tools>InternetOptions>Connection tab configuration?

It may be set to Dial whenever a Network Connection is not Present.

Again, in the General tab, My Doucments might just have been set as the home page, perhaps by dragging and dropping it inadvertently into the address bar.

Go start\run and type MSCONFIG go to startup tab and look for auto dialer remove the tick
