pc settings for poor vision

Does anyone know how i can set fonts/ screen display for a person with poor eyesight. I have done this in the past and even set up a black screen with white large letters. Totally forgotten how to do it. This would be on XP and win98

With XP open the control panel and the click on the accessibility option to change the screen for improved viewing.

I am not sure about 98 now.

With Internet Explorer and Outlook, open up VIEW then TEXT and select larger or largest

Think under Win98 accessibility options are ones you have to install yourself as extra. Go to add/remove progs. and then the second tab...can't remember what its called!

There is normally a high contrast setting as a color scheme which you can get to from display properties.

XP also has built in magnifiy which you can get at from the start menu/ all progs/ accessories/ accessabilitiy.
