PC Restarting Itself

Lately my Athlon XP (2800+ 1Gb Ram, Win Xp pro) has had some problems, 1st off it started to turn itself off completely - upon inspecting the case it felt very very hot, so i assumed with the current hot weather it was simply overheating & turning off to counter this. I had some new fans installed, 1 on the graphics card & the old one replaced on the chipset, well so far since installing it has stopped turning itself off, but instead now it restarts itself every hour or so......
The pc itself feels a lot cooler, so i assume it cant be overheating now.

Any suggestions or ideas as to why it feels the need to restart ?

Get motherboard monitor and see how the system is coping may still be cooking just you cant feel it. Google to get a copy it is free.

Post up you full system specs including your motherboard model. Belarc advisor (again with google) will help you there.
