PC - Reboots when "cold"

  tartanemu 20:25 29 Sep 04

When first starting up my PC it re-boots several times at different stages but settles down after the PC warms up. I've tried pressing in all the leads etc and PC-Doctor gives the various components a clean bill of health. Any ideas? Could the PSU (250w) be too small?

Hi tartanemu. Reckon the Forum needs a bit more to go on: "my PC" is a bit sketchy...

If you are correct when you write 250 watt psu then yes i would think it would struggle a bit.

Give the PC a good clean, esp the fans.

if you haven't changed owt lately, then go with dan the "not" so confused, dust can be a killer on some machines, use a tin a compressed air, available from most good computer shops.
