I have put a lot of historical pictures onto CD-RWs, in 'plain English' can anyone explain how and with what sort of DVD player I can watch these photographs my TV please? I don't have a DVD burner.

If you have put them on as a VCD, all you have to check is whether your DVD can read VCDs.

Not an answer to your question but a bit of advice. CDRW's have a reputation of being unstable and losing data after a fairly short time. If your pictures are of any value, monetary or sentimental, I would strongly suggest that you copy them to a CDR.
