PC to PC

I have connected 2 pc's together using an ethernet cable and they work fine without any problems, they are connected via a phone hub.

The other computer has a printer attached to it and is it possible to share that printer and if so what do I need to do to get it to work.

If the machines are running XP then run the network wizard from control panel and follow instructions which will give you the option to set up file and printer shareing.

if network is already up and runnning,on the pc with the printer ,goto the printer and faxes in control panel right click on the printer and look for shareing option and enable it .

if you are using xp on both machines the drivers will be installed when you try to use the printer from the second pc .

otherwise you may need to install drivers from the printer setup disk .Dave.
