PC or TV

Has the technology arrived to replace the TV with a PC and broadband?

My audio centre is creaking, my tv analogue aerial gone wrong, would it be reasonable to buy a configured for purpose pc to do the lot?

I have a Phillips 23” PF9945/12 LCD tv with pc input, which I assume would do the job.

Has anyone knowledge of click here, it offers over 700 Free To Air satellite stations, supplied via the internet, for a one off software payment. To good to be true?

Or is it early days, and I stick with my Virgin cable broadband and tv package?

Thank you

I think you need HDMI like I have. I am using a 32" LCD TV at this time to write this post. Connected from DVI on Graphics Card to HDMI socket on TV
