PC not booting

hi there,can anyone out there please help?Now and then,when i switch my pc on,it fails to boot up,and the only way ive found so far-not ideal i know-is to unplug the power lead from the back of the case,plug back in,then it boots ok,any ideas please?Im on Win ME,Athlon xp2000 processor.Thanks,roywidd

It seems you may have a faulty internal power supply, are you running any Mods like internal lights and fans? if your PC is a manufactured one it may not have sufficent AMPs eg 250 or 300 you may have to get a new one with 400 or more.
I seem to remember there was a how to replace it a few mags ago, just looked in issues 99 and 100 and didnt see it.
