PC new build advice

Just for fun and as a learning exercise, I want to build a PC from scratch. I ‘ve got a spec in mind, all from Savastore, and before I buy I’d like some compatibility advice to make sure the bits talk to each other. Here’s the spec-

Aries Aries Athlon64 X2 3800+ SktAM2 / 512MB / Motherboard Kit
Generic Generic CX-8759 Black Knight Atx Case With 400W PSU
Western Digital Western Digital Caviar 80GB 2MB Cache 7200 HDD OEM

Ignoring the external devices and the CD Rom, which I’ve got, am I missing anything?

This is not going to be a heavy use machine, but I anticipate installing Vista at some stage in the future so upgrading is important.

Any views?

When you get around to installing Vista you could do with doubling up the RAM first. What graphics card do you intend to use as it will determine whether you can get the Aero interface in Vista?

The spec mentions the following:

Onboard Graphics: 128MB Ati Radeon X300 SMA PCI Express Graphics

which I assume will provide basic graphics? I know I will need to buy a card at some point, but since my gaming doesn't get much beyond patience I'm hoping it will suffice for now?
