PC to LCD tv via HDMI

I've looked around the net & not found anything relating to this directly so here goes...

I want to connect my PC to my HDTV via an HDMI cable so I can watch my movies without burning or converting etc.
I need a HDMI enabled graphics card, a 5m cable & have grabbed the K-Lite codecs as advised ready for the job at hand. Is there anything else I need? I don't want to watch TV via the net or anything like that, just saved files.

TIA

You should be ok with what you have - my PC is connected to TV via SVHS cable to my DVD Recorder which is connected to my TV, so I can use my TV as a second monitor, and even record from PC direct to DVD.
