PC goes slow!!

Hi my pc goes slow after 10 minutes of running normally.
I tried running spyware programs (spybot, microsot ect)even virus scan, but still get the same.
When i look at task manager, i see that explorer is using 50% of the cpu and the system is using exactly 25% and the rest is shared out to other programs.

Why is this?

Plzzz help

Sounds like spyware have you tried A2? If not scan with that also the MS antispy, that will give you all running progs and the option to stop any. Hope this helps

can you post your system specs, i.e. Cpu, mobo, ram etc.

It would also be handy to know the size of your hard drive, and what amount of data is stored on it.

Asus P5P800 mobo
Pentium 4 775 3.4ghz
1024 ddr 400 ram
1x200gb (western d)sata and 1x 80gb ata (maxtor).

on the other users side every thing is ok but on my side (administrator) is so slow after 10 mins.

i have uninstalled many programs, but no change.
Task manager reveals that explorer somehow uses 50% of the cpu and the system takes exactly 25%.
Its maad. There are several programs in the task manager -- some that i dont know of.
Virus scan i got: AVG
Firewall: Zone Alarm
Spyware: Spybot, MS Spyware
Adware: Adware SE

Is it AV running in background

I have a separate partition called the video.
I have got a fair amount of divx movies in there.
Its actually when i open this folder the cpu for explorer goes to 50 % and system goes to 25 %.

How do i come about this situation.

I just found out that when i open the folder for my limewire downloads, the explorer goes to 50% and never returns
