I have a friend who is disabled and on benefits. I wondered if there is a charity that can help with a free or cheap pc for him so he can improved his quality of life. I can teach him how to use it but not provide one.

Computers For The Disabled click here

Hi frostypug, what disability has your friend got?. I'm asking because the MS society used to give computers to people with this illness. You could also try click here or DIAL which stands for Disability Information Advice Line phone number 01302310123, I do not know much about DIAL,but I think the three names I have given might be able to help. The CAB and one Stop Shop might point you in the right direction. Last but not least the Welfare Benefits Unit or even your local Job Centre might be able to put your friend in touch with this scheme. I hope there is enough information for you, and good luck, Sconedd
