My machine has suddenly started giving me a "Rpcss has caused an error in Kernal32.DLL" message shortly followed by a blue "fatal exception screen". This has happened whilst using the internet and once when I just booted up my PC and hadn't had the chance to do anything with it. Help!

This says Windows ME is not affected, but I'm running Windows ME!

Try a System Restore to before it started happening.

Are you sure it isn't Kernel32.DLL

  The Dazza 18:02 18 Aug 04

Yes, as I say it says Kernal32.DLL I haven't got system restore. Cheers

I think Kernal32.DLL is associated with spyware. Try running Ad-aware click here and Spybot click here

System Restore is available in Windows ME. Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore.

I did system restore and I think that has sorted it, thanks.
