How does encryption software such as McAfee Endpoint work with backing up via disk imaging ?

Does it cause problems if access is needed to backed up files or if a new hard disc is needed and the image copied back onto the new disc ?

I have no idea how McAfee works, but if you are looking for backup software for your own PC, Acronis True Image is hard to beat.

I would imagine that if only certain files are encrypted or secure volumes (virtual drives) that have been created then there should be no problem. However, if it is full disk encryption, if McAfee can do that, then there may be a problem as the program would not be available in order to decrypt!
