PC for Cubase 5 - help please

  JimbobJo 19:15 28 Dec 09

I am planning to get Cubase 5 and I need to get a decent computer to run it on but not really sure what to look for. I suspect I need decent Memory (4Gb +) and a decent processor. I am not sure whether to buy one of the many PCs out there or get someone to build it for me (I am not very IT literate so I can't do this myself). Does anyone know of a reliable company that builds PCs in the Guildford/Surrey area or can anyone recommend a PC? My budget is £500 - £800.

click here - from Cubase Support pages

As you will see this program needs at least 1GB of RAM in a 32bit environment but as they say more is better.

In your price range you will get a more than adeqate machine.

This an example from a reputable supplier click here

You are probably better off speaking to one of the specialist recording PC specialists like click here . They will be building PC's that have low noise circuits and low noise level components that don't compromise your recordings.
