Fed up of the content on TV, I feel my 40 inch lcd screen is being wasted. so I have decided to put together a HTPC so I can browse the internet/you tube etc and play blu ray. Biggest descision seems to be the case and mobo, has anyone put one together recently?
Not looking for fancy displays on the front nor a huge case either, mATX mobo looks logical, just need space for 1 hdd, 1 Optical and preferably coming with a quite PSU of 350 watts or more.

Not looking to spend mega money.

I have pre-ordered windows 7 premium

Any help on this subject much appreciated.

Thanks for that, while mooching around on the net, found this desktop case (£78), might be a little on the large size but this should make it easier to work with? Anyone had one?

Also looking for intel mATX mobo with scope for the future (under £50) will be putting my own graphics card in, probably a 7600 GT thats going spare.

It also says in the case description:

Expansion / Connectivity:

Expansion Bays Total (Free)2 ( 2 ) x front accessible - 5.25" x 1/2H

2 ( 2 ) x internal - 3.5" x 1/3H

What is 1/2 h and 1/3 h? I guess its height?

Will I be able to use standard internal HDD and optical drives?
