PC cable to LCD TV

  Mr Confused 13:53 18 May 05

I have recently purchased an LCD TV with a PC connection on it. I used to know someone who connected their TV to their PC hard drive and display the image on both their PC monitor and on the TV screen. How can I do this? And also what equipment will I need and where can I purchase this from?

The video card on my PC has "TV out" on it as far as I know.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

We need to know make and model of LCD TV and type of connector is it the same as a monitor connection?

Some TVs can be used as a monitor just plug into grahics card output as normal not TV out, this is why the model No. would help.

This link click here provides more details about the TV.

From the spec. of the TV looks like a standard PC VGA connector 9 pin, A cable can be purchased to connect a Laptop or PC in place of the standard Monitor you use, just make sure you get Female/Male connectors correct on the cable you purchase, most PC suppliers will have stock, I have the same connector but have not used it yet ... hope this helps ...
