PC Benchmarks

I have used 3DMark03 in the past, but now I've downloaded the free version again it won't run, just a brief black screen. Also tried 3DMark05, that reported it couldn't find a pixel shading utility.

Any others I can try, preferably without a 2 hour download?

Aquamark 03, but at around 65mb, it's gonna take a while on dial up. click here

Thanks, I'm on 512kb broadband, but 3DMark05 is 283 mb, and takes nearly 2 hours. 04 not much less. So at 65mb, Aquamark will be a breeze!

should take about 10 mins then, don't nick any of my bandwidth, im downloading from the danish site :-)

by the way Aquamark is considered to be a better benchmark by some harcore enthusiasts than 3d mark.

I take it you were after graphics benchmarks. If so the already mentioned are probably the best.

If not try Sisoft Sandra, which is a system information and PC benchmarking system in one.

You can benchmark your CPU / memory / HDD's / network etc..

I got 4104.

Rigga, thanks, I used to have that too! Will give it a go. I'm trying to get my temperatures up, as MobileMeter is reporting CPU at 51C, which never changes. Hard drive starts at 18C and goes to 32C.

"I'm trying to get my temperatures up"
