PC automatic shutdown

  Mark-it 08:41 19 May 05

Recently I had several shutdown the first time in the day I switch PC on the critical message is the following :
BCcode: 100000d1 BCP1:8DD88F77 BCP2:00000002 BCP3:00000000 BCP4:F6C2330A OSVer:5_1_2600 SP:2.0 Product: 768_1

Anyone does know what is it?

It is quite annoying because it switch off and then I have to reset to restart and it works fine with no problem for the rest of the day!!
I had updated Norton AV to 2005 version could it be the cause?
I had also found and deleted the bla.exe file (not detected by Norton anyway)

Go take a look in the Event Viewer: Start, All programs, administrative tools, event viewer. Look in the System event viewer just after this happens and scroll back looking for errors/shutdowns. Double click on any events that look problematic and see what they say. Often event viewer will log what caused the shutdown.
