Hi I was wondering if there was a way too back up the hiden partition that recovers my factory settings, would I be able too use Norton Ghost Boot Disk and do it from there and would I need too use a CD-R or a DVD-R too save the imige file?

Don't know the answer to that because I have all the relevant CDs to restore my (self build) computer.

Why not give it a go to a CDR. If it doesn't work you have only lost a few pence (and gained a coaster).

Well I had a go, I used a DVD-RW, I used Norton Ghost Boot Disk, and I done "Partition Too Disk" and saved the Ghost file on my computer, I then copied the image on the DVD-RW and tested the disk rebooted and it didn't load the disk what have I done wrong ?

Sorry mate, but again I can't answer that not having a pre-installed computer. Can only assume that Norton Ghost doesn't like DVD-RWs. Give it a try with a CD-R disk.

Don't use a rw cd/dvd with ghost, try it again and write direct to dvd.
