I installed this and made the mistake of believing the Managing Ed's claim of "Uninstall in Seconds"

This may be so, but he omitted to say how!

Can anyone advise how to do a clean remove?

I've already asked on the original thread (Speakers' Corner) but the only advice I got was Control Panel, but it doesn't appear there.

Try with Revo un-installer click here

Thanks.

No sign of it there either!

I don't know how effective it is, but have you tried the Search option in Revo?

Or, try the normal Search option in Windows, then if it finds anything to do with PCA Tool, you could highlight and delete from within the Search window.

No trace using any searches, and no sign in CCleaner either.

I might try a manual uninstall if all else fails, but it tends to leave a lot of rubbish behind.

It really is too bad of PCA to push something like this without having an easy uninstall facility.

uninstall your browser ,reinstall your browser it will be gone, make sure you have a second browser before you do this.

Thanks for the advice.

Hardly the "Uninstall in Seconds" the Managing Editor boasted about!

It appeared in my Add/Remove prorammes, uninstalled from there. Also appeared in C Cleaner.

If you are still unable to remove it, you should re-install it again. You should then find it in Add&Remove in Control panel.

Thanks TT.

Never thought of that, tho'it is a known solution for similar cases.

I'll give it a try later.

Click the dropdown arrow to the right of the PCA logo, then Help. Scroll to Uninstalling the toolbar - it does take seconds!
