I'm setting up a website soon and, in the unlikelihood someone wants to pay me for my services, can anyone recommend a facility for receiving payments? What are your thoughts on Paypal?

I use PayPal and they charge you 3.4% + £0.20p for you to accept a payment from a third party or at least they do on ebay. So if you receive £2.00 from someone it's going to cost you £0.268 to receive it. Have a look at Natwest's Fastpay and also Nochex.

I use PayPal (but mostly to pay others) &, despite what people/sites say, never had a single problem with about 50 transactions so far. They may be costlier than the options above so look into other options too before deciding the best one for your needs. Good luck, G

Can't get through to Rigga's link -- must be overwhelmed by people from this forum!

As a payer, I've never had a problem with PayPal.
